101 small pleasures that cost little to nothing

I haven’t written in so long. I feel terrible. I wish I never found out what Farmville on Facebook was! It has taken me away from working on my new books! I thought of a few cool marketing ideas for my first book THE ANSWER TO WORLD PEACE (which is available for sale on Amazon.com, check it out!). I’ll have to work on it all slowly when I get some time (a little here and there). It was a beautiful day out today. I had a dentist appointment this morning and was able to work from home, YAY, ice cream for lunch! I also made some Chocolate Chip Cake to bring into work tomorrow. MMMM!

I found this on Yahoo today and thought it would be good to keep on my blog to reference later and hopefully others can benefit from this as well.

Topping the google search charts!

WOW! I went to google search and typed “the answer to world peace”. It came up with 30,600,000 search results. The very first thing out of this 30 million was MY BOOK! I can’t believe it! This is truly amazing and unbelievable! It makes me feel a lot better about the 100′s of hours spent putting it together. Now if I could sell more copies on Amazon, I would be the happiest person in town! :) -Kary Ho

long time no type!

I haven’t typed for a long time on here. SORRY! I just submitted my book to be published – finally! I should have done this 4 weeks ago :( oh well. I’m excited. Trick or Treat was yesterday. I spent 7 hours carving and painting a pumpkin. I entered it in a contest at work and took 1st place – I won a $20 Target gift card. YAY! Tonight I’m putting it in the garbage because it smells. Now it’s time for Thanksgiving and Christmas decor. I can’t wait for my book. I’ll be checking the mailbox everyday hoping it’s there! haha – I hope everyone had a safe and fun Halloween weekend! -KaryKary's painted pumpkin 2009

Tomato Soup with stuff! haha

I made some tomato soup for lunch but the crackers we have are bad… so in searching the fridge, I found some tortilla shells, ripped into pieces and added to my soup. then I found some shell noodles I made the other day- and added those as well. I sprinkled in some basil, parsley and dill (my favorite spice!). I also put some shredded cheeses across the top and wallah – Great awesome soup! :) hah it is so good!

The Answer to world peace

A website for people around the world to add stories and more to be read by everyone around the globe! check it out – www.theanswertoworldpeace.com

My new website is finally done! Woohoo!

It’s early Sunday morning. Over the weekend we were babysitting some friend’s kids. We had Chocolate chip pancakes with home-made whipping cream, strawberries, and concord grapes that my neighbor gave us. We also made brownies (some with caramel, choc. chips, walnuts, sprinkles, etc) We put them in cupcake tins so we could have different flavors. It worked out great!

I have been working on my website for awhile now. It is far from “professional” or anything, but I wanted to share that I am excited it is finally published for the public to view. If you want to check it out – go to www.TheAnswerToWorldPeace.com It has some stuff to keep you busy if you get bored! :) – Kary
